The Miss Sakura Contest is one of KAJI’s flagship cultural programs, held to promote Japanese culture and strengthen the friendship between Indonesia and Japan. The competition brings together individuals who share an interest in Japanese language, traditions, and cultural exchange. Throughout the contest, participants are assessed on various aspects, including their presentation skills, cultural knowledge, talent, personality, and ability to serve as ambassadors of goodwill between the two countries. From introducing their respective organizations to showcasing their talents in the semifinal round and participating in a final question-and-answer session, contestants demonstrate not only their individual capabilities but also their commitment to fostering mutual understanding between Indonesia and Japan.

The event was made even more memorable by the enthusiastic support of fellow JTCI employees, who attended the competition to cheer on the employee. Colleagues filled the venue with handmade support posters, custom face-cutout headbands, and words of encouragement throughout the event, creating a lively atmosphere that reflected the Company’s strong spirit of teamwork and camaraderie.
