November 18, 2025 ― PT J TRUST CONSULTING Indonesia (hereinafter referred to as “JTCI”; Head Office: Central Jakarta, Jakarta Special Capital Region; President Director: Takeshi Ikeda) and PT Nihon Mergers and Acquisitions Center Indonesia (hereinafter referred to as “NMAI”; Head Office: Central Jakarta, Jakarta Special Capital Region; President Director: Kosuke Kawata) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) regarding M&A Services. The purpose of this MOU is to mutually cooperate in the exchange of information and the introduction of cases related to M&A transactions.

JTCI is a consulting firm established in June 2019 as a new business venture for the J Trust Group in Indonesia, following its banking and debt collection operations. Utilizing the know-how cultivated by the J Trust Group and our experience and network in the Indonesian market, JTCI provides comprehensive M&A consulting services. These include supporting companies entering the Indonesian market, corporate acquisitions and divestitures, business transfers, mergers, capital alliances, and business partnerships.

Meanwhile, NMAI opened a representative office in Indonesia in October 2019 as its second ASEAN base, gathering information on cross-border M&A. On July 1, 2025, it established a local subsidiary and commenced business activities and service provision, including accepting transfer cases within Indonesia. This aims to expand the volume of information and the number of successful deals for cross-border M&A cases between Japan and Indonesia, as well as within the ASEAN region.

We believe the signing of this memorandum regarding M&A services will meet the M&A transaction needs of both JTCI and NMAI’s clients while contributing to the further development of client companies.

Going forward, by integrating both companies’ networks, we will achieve faster and more optimal M&A matching, contributing to the revitalization of M&A transactions in the Indonesian market.
